Legal Question in Family Law in Pakistan

Can we ask some questions to defendant party in family court? i mean to say that in family court, lets say khula case, can husband request court to allow him to prosecute wife or ask some questions in presence of judge during court proceedings or only lawyer has this right to prosecute opposite party? If request, can court allow it as an effort of re conciliation?

Evidence of defendant can be cross examined by the plaintiff or his council.. Usually people do not know the law and procedures for which judges do not allow ordinary people to cross examine themselves.. For more do consult me at [email protected]

in case of khula, defendant usually is not provided an opportunity to cross examine the plaintiff,. even his council.. in other than khula cases, he may ask questions, but experience shows the adverse effects .
