Legal Question in Family Law in Pakistan

hello Sir, assalamualakum,

i want to ask a legal opinion , my brother's wife has got khulla . they are now claiming dowry and some gold sets . which is totally false. we have only Goods(dowry) from their side.(which we have returned as according to the order from Court).

Now they are demanding gold also. Now the Court is saying that the decision will be on the basis of

"Half" from both the parties.

Sir kindly guide us that this decision will be on the favour of which party.

and if Court' s decision will be on the favour of my brother's wife, then what we have to do??

We have to return the gold or not?

If you are talking about the Half on Holy Quran the same falls under Section 6 of Special Oath, however no body can be compelled to take Oath on Holy Quran. The question is that whether the offer of taking Oath on Holy Quran comes from you or your brother's wife or you or the court had directed both the parties to take special oath. Give me more details so I can give you detail reply in this regard.
