Legal Question in Family Law in Pakistan

sir i hve filed a case for visitation of my son (2 years) in july as my wife is demanding for divorce for last 6 months.wen i went to file the case i luckily gt to know that she has already filed a case for khullah widout sending me any notices. (An attempt to take ex-party decision ), Anywaz in the next date of case my lawyer attended the court n told judge abt it n they apoligized for not sending the notices.

i hve two issues.one is that i want to talk to my wife in private as she is immature n misguided by her mother that that his son will nt be given to her at any case, will it be possible that i can tak to her b4 giving her divorce cz most likely her parents will try that she doesnot appear in court or they tell her not to tak to me fr reconciliation or tell the judge that she doesnot want reconcilaztion.

secondly the judge is giving dates of almost one week in my khullah case.it seems as he has been requeseted to make early decision. is it normal that a judge give a period of one week b4 the next reply.i want that khullah case shd be decided after the ramzan as one of relative(khala) is cuming from england on eid . she wants to make some effort fr reconcile . my all efforts are not to give her divorce as i know my son life will be destroyed. The issues r very minor between me n my wife but my mother in law doesnot want this realation as she was against this relation b4 marriage too.

plz guide me in the appropriate way as i dnot think my lawyer is handling the case in a gud way.An early reply is requested plz

regards
