Legal Question in Family Law in Pakistan
My wife's family fraudlently entered a line in point no. 7 of Nikkah Nama before registering with Union Council and does not given my copy. At the time of Niikah it was blank with other columns given below that point. They have entered that incase of Physical torture or Divorce the husband has to pay Rs.300,000/ to the wife. This was not known to me. My question is that whether NIKKAH is conditional under Islamic Shariah? What is the Implication on divorce given by Husband?

you will definatly fulfill that term ,,,or you can approach to family court for cancellation of that term,, nikah nama is compulsory under the law in Pakistan,, other wise u are banned
Nikahnama is marriage contract and you have to fulfill conditions whatever mentioned in the contract. If you dont go for divorce and she claims khula then she has to return the Haq mehr and this condition will not be a compulsion on you. For more do consult me at [email protected]
