Legal Question in Employment Law in Pakistan

can i defend myself without an attorney or lawyer?

I have a case in High court of Pakistan, my lawyer, who i payed $500, refused to continue my case on stupid excuse that she does not like dealing with me and didnt even return my money. Now i am in no position to hire another lawyer; is there any possibility that i could stand for myslef in the court?

2- I am facing law suit from my ex-emlpoyer on charges that i breached the agreement while working and within 30 days after termination of contract i was not supposed to run any service parallel to their business, that i never did. they have attached no authentic evidence... just a couple of msn chat copies and my contact list copy from my personal msn... which certainly is against the plaintiff. how can i get this case dismissed on basis of the fact that they dont have any proof or valid evidence?

Pls help!

Everyone has an inherent right to defend his/her rights in the court. If you appear in the court for yourself, the judge will let you argue your case.
