short term disability
I have been employed for 7 months. I had full time employment before this for 2 years. I had to have achillles tendon surgery. my doctor has released me to work but they will not let me work in the boot cast I am wearing. do I qualify for short term disability

It would be best to review your actual policy face-to-face with counsel. You should qualify if your Doctor will provide any additional documentation necessary. Some carriers are substandard because if there is a dispute, they think they can get pre-empted from any state claims by ERISA.
