auto accident

i was in a accident with my 3 kids on a septa bus and i settled my case in june but i feel as though my lawyer is giving me the run around because he keeps saying it will be coming in the mail.This he has been telling me since june and i feel as though he has already gotten the money and is going to give it to me when he is ready,and we have been waiting since june2005.Can you help us .

If the case settled in June, 2005, you have a problem. SEPTA nororiously pays late, however, waiting over a year is a bit much. If you settled the case in June, 2006, you should expect your check soon. You can call the claims dept. at SEPTA and ask if the check was sent.
