Registering religious origination
I am looking to start a Witches Coven (equal to a Christen Cchurch). Do I have to apply for an EIN as a church or other in the name of the Tradation of witchcraft what is largly family tradations. Or is there another place I have to go to all together.

Why are you asking? EIN is used only for commercial purposes and is only necessary where there are employees or commercial ventures (sales, proerty holding, etc.). I'm familiar with Wicca and have yet to see a formal church. Sort of goes against the philsosphy of the practice.
If the "church" were to have employees, or be involved in a business then an EIN would be useful. But covens are meant to be informal and bound only by the respect and relationship of the members.
If somehow you start making money as a coven then you can consider forming as a church or business, but start small.
