appeal a guilty plea

My son was pressured into pleading guilty and accepting a larger sentence than deserved. He was given false informtion to scare him and us into taking plea in order to scare others into pleading. It worked but also put his family along with him in danger of others.

He is now stuck with this sentence and going to a state facility when if sentenced fairly would have still gotten time but much less and probably in a county facility. How can we find a loophole to appeal?
