What format is used to write a concise statement? How is the concise statement written? Where can I find examples of concise written statements?

very very simply (ie do not rely on this to write an actual 1925(b)) you have to list out the grounds of your appeal. So whatever you want to appeal in the actual appeal you have to give notice of it to the trial court, the appeals court and the district attorney.

for example, the motion you lost should have been granted, the just allowed the da to bring in a piece of evidence the da should not have been able to bring it, the jury was tainted when one of the jurors was struck mid trial, the da cheated in their closing so a mistrial should have been granted instead of just a curative instruction, and the judge made a mistake at sentencing.

but, say you forgot to list in their something about how the expert witness called by the da was not really an expert at all. you then can't argue that point in the appeal.
