Legal Question in Banking Law in Pennsylvania
Bounced Check
I know someone who helped his sister out. She needed her car fixed so this guy wrote a check... the check was in his and his sisters name and the check bounced. He signed the check but then his sister closed the account. Will he be the one to get into trouble for the bounced check? Do you think he will spend time in jail? If so, how long?

Re: Bounced Check
This is too complicated to give you a good answer on a bulletin board. For example, does the guy have a criminal record? How many checks has he bounced? How large was the check?
