Legal Question in Banking Law in Pennsylvania
The way power of attorney executed our documents
Borrower signed his wifes name and just put POA after it. We feel this is not the legal way. We do have the original power of attorney. Isn't the following the proper way: John Doe as attorney in fact for Jane Doe? Thank you.

Re: The way power of attorney executed our documents
I do not think it really matters if it is signed "POA" or "John Doe with as attorney in fact for Jane Doe." If it keeps you up at night have it signed the way you want it. I should not be a deal breaker. As long as the person actually has power of attorney I think that either way will be fine.
