I filed for bankruptcy last year. My boyfriend and I are getting married. How will this effect our future credit?

It stays on your credit rating for 10 years. Recently I've noticed that credit for people who have gone through bankruptcy has been getting more difficult. I don't know if this is going to be a long term trend or not.
