Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Pennsylvania
Bankruptcy 101 : Pennsylvania
If I use a bankruptcy document package from the net, will I need a lawyer at some point during the process?
I consider myself competent and self-relying and have handled legal matters by myself before, such as immigration.
Also, when is the deadline for processing a bankruptcy case under the old laws?
Thank you.

The new bankruptcy law goes into effect October 17th this year. The benefit of a lawyer is that a mistake in your bankruptcy filing might fail to extinguish a debt in excess of the fees you would pay an attorney. I would therefore recommend you speak to an attorney as soon as possible. I offer free consultations.
