car lease not included in bankruptcy

i have a leased vehicle which was not included in

my bancruptcy even though it is in my name it is

a secondary car for my daughter.we have tried un sucessfully to negotiate payments with the creditor and they will not work with us.the buyout

is 6000.00 dollars which we dont have and the car

is a 1995 dodge neon which is in poor shape ad has

high mileage. if i turn the car back, what will happen to us with this dept? our attorney does not think this can be added to our bankruptcy

Ask your attorney what would happen if you surrender the car. Ask him whether the company has a valid lien on the car. If you've got a lawyer, take your answers from him - he presumably knows more about your case than would any lawyer on this list.
