Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Pennsylvania

changing his mind

My husband who is a Gunnery Sargeant of the USMC and on his 16th year of active duty filed an individual Chapter 13 in Aug 23. His court date is in February, 2001. Now he wants to take it back if possible because his Sgt Major found out and he took away his security clearance and he has to submit a letter to Headquarters he is not eligible for deployment due to financial mismanagement. His career is now being endangered that he thinks he should stop the process and just opt for an alternative like a credit counseling service. Could he still pull out his filing? I'd appreciate your reply.

Re: changing his mind

Dear madam:

The petiton may be withdrawn. There are several factors that must be examined and I would need to know more about the case.

Please contact me if you would like to discuss the process.
