Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Pennsylvania

Chapter 13 to stop Sherrifs sale

I filed the day before my house was to go on sherrif's sale. I did get a document that was time stamped, but I didnot inform the sherrif's office. My house was sold to a company and I was contacted to vacate my house. Will my time stamped document gaurantee that I can keep my home and complete my Chpt 13 process?

A sale which occurs after a filing, can be voided. Your attorney should immediately file either a Petition to set Aside the Sale or a Motion to Enforce the Automatic Stay.
