Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Pennsylvania
Collection protection
I am in my second year of Chapter 13 bankruptcy and received a letter from one of my creditors demanding payment with 30 days of a debt filed under Chapter 13. What are my legal rights against this creditor and how should I respond to that creditor?

Re: Collection protection
See an attorney. The demands are violative of bankruptcy laws.

Re: Collection protection
I would suggest that you inform your attorney of what has taken place and show him or her the collection letter. He or she can probably handle this for you quite easily. The collection effort is probably a violation of the automatic stay. Good Luck.
