Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Pennsylvania

My daughter is filing bankruptcy in Pennsylvania. She has over $300,000.00 in debt due to a construction business in which she was the sole proprietor. The company was greatly effected by the economy and she went out of business. She had the company from 2003 through 2009. She started paying for the bankruptcy over a year ago, but it took this long to get the funds to pay off the balance for the bankruptcy fee. In December she started talking to a guy online and they developed a relationship and are planning to get married in August. He is from Illinois and they plan to settle there as he owns a house and has a job there. The bankruptcy was to be completed before August. He gave her a ring in the beginning of this month. She asked the attorney if she needed to list the ring in the bankruptcy and they told her she had to. Her fiance has financed this ring and it is not paid off yet. My main question is, he is concerned that after the bankruptcy, and after they are married is it possible that they can come after him in any manner because of her debt. Thank you for any help you can give me in this matter.

Talk with her attorney, but the quick and dirty and free answer is her future husband will not be responsible for debt that is subject to a bankruptcy prior to the marriage.
