Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Pennsylvania
I filed chapter 7 in 2008 and I was discharged 12/2008. I have a home that I have a mortgage on, but it stopped reporting on my credit and is listed as discharged. I still pay my mortgage, but am I still financially responsible? The mortgage is sub-prime, and cannot afford to sell it, I am considering a move but I wish to keep my clean slate. I think if I were to walk away from the home there would be no recourse because it was listed in my bankruptcy. Is this correct.

You are free to stop paying and walk away from the home. As it happens, I just wrote about this here:
