Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Pennsylvania

foreclosure

my home was foreclosed on but i was not notified properly and now im being evicted. is there anything i can do so i dont get kicked out on the street. it started last november but i filed bankruptcy, then my lawyer filed my repayment plan to late, it wwas dismissed. They never notified me of another sheriff sale an sold my house. now im being evicted, is there anything i can do to stay or even get more time to find a new place to live

In PA, it is legal for a mortgage company to postpone a sale at the sale with no additional notice. The burden is on the owner to be present at the sale and be aware of the postponement date. That sounds like what has happened.

Usually, mortgage companies have no interest in forcibly evicting people and they may even give you funds to move. You should talk to them about how much time you need.

Otherwise, you can defend the eviction which may give you time. You should speak to an attorney ASAP so you don�t miss any deadlines.
