Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Pennsylvania

My gay partner is declaring bankruptcy

My partner is thinking of declaring bankruptcy. He owns a

property (which is his main residence, though he has lives

with me most of the time). His home also has several

occupied apartments in it. When I purchased my home last

year I put him on the title of the house (though my name is

the only one on the mortgage). If he declares bankruptcy, is

my home at risk because his name is on the title?

Thanks for your time

Re: My gay partner is declaring bankruptcy

From what you describe, his interest in your house would be an asset of his bankruptcy estate to the extent of any equity in the property. As this sounds like more than a simple no-house/no-car/credit-card-debt situation, some pre-bankruptcy planning may be in order. Feel free to contact me if I may be of assistance.
