Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Pennsylvania
Keeping home
I'm curious to know if you can keep your home filing chapter 7. I own my home jointly with my mother. The house is currently upside down about 50,000. The main reason i'm looking at bankruptcy is a failed business with some personal guarantees. No credit cards would need to be discharged. Thank you,--name removed--

Re: Keeping home
Yes. As long as you pay the mortgage, you will keep the home. The debt related to the business will be discharged.
