Keeping House in Another State From Bankruptcy

WOW!I'm more devasted/depress than ever.Neighbors hoped to buy house at auction for $1000-7000 for 4 yrs. now.How sad my parents worked all their lives only to have me fail them & lose it?Wife has mental illness.How can I repay debts our senior yrs. on net income $1300-1500 a mth with apt.rent/ meds/water/storage/gas/food/car ins/utilities/rent ins/cars don't run. We don't own anything of value except PA. house needs much work.The assessed value was $23,000 when social services for parents said it had to be in my name to save dads home health care.All his life ins. went to trust irrevocable for funeral home/bills for nursing home 2004-2007.We've been stuck with re-assessed value at $46,000 in an area homes sell for $10,000-25000 2 story/3 BR/2 BA or more.My house-2 BR/930 sq. ft./1 BA/needs roof/unfinished basement/paint.We can't live there only went 7 days a yr. to see dad. Those living there had lawyers win/ reduce taxes/assessment.We had to keep using convenience checks to exist.We pay it's very high taxes/house ins.I never knew our lives would come to this as senior citizens/broken down cars/no net worth/our health not good.Debt $1200 mth 2-6% can't afford payments.FICO 843/then 676/now can't pay.Lost job/can't find better.

I'm not clear on what you are asking. Bankruptcy may be a solution. Your net income should be enough to fund a Chapter 13 plan but you have to bring your expenses down to live within your income. It may mean getting rid of your house and moving into an apartment.
