Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Pennsylvania
land contract, bankruptcy,tenant, rent
we are buying our house land contract, were notified 2 weeks ago about our landlords bkrtcy with trustee name only and today our landlord called demanding payment for month and we have 5000.00 with the landlord as down payment. what should we do about our payment, i am afraid we will lose house, 5000. and any additional payments. thank you

The property is now property of your landlord's bankruptcy estate subject to your contract. You still have your rights under the contract and you should continue to make your monthly payments.
