Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Pennsylvania

Order of Stay

I ordered into an agreement with my landlord after he took me to Municiple Court for possession of the property that I am renting from him. He wants possession only, no back monies are involved. I agreed to vacate by March 15,2003 but I now need to file chapter 13 bankruptcy and need to know if I would be allowed a stay under bankruptcy law to remain in the property?

Re: Order of Stay

A bankruptcy will act as a stay. The landlord can then ask the court's permission to proceed, which will be granted.
