Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Pennsylvania
Unemployment and Chapter 7 question
I am unemployed and ready to file chapter 7.
What if I get a high paying job before the meeting of creditors that would leave substantial money left after expenses. Will my chapter 7 be dismissed and require me to do a chapter 13?
Thanks

Re: Unemployment and Chapter 7 question
If you get a high paying job before the creditor's meeting a good lawyer can probably still keep you in a chapter 7. Much will depend on the attitude of the trustee that is assigned to your case. If you do possess substantial income then your budget should be adjusted to show realistic expenses. Please feel free to give me a call to discuss this in more detail. ph.
