antitrust law

an attorney filed a complaint in federal court against an manufacture i was buying off of. We had complained among other things malice and such. How long is the window to petition to reopen if case was terminiated.

I think you need to speak directly with an attorney to figure out exactly what is going on.

If the case was voluntarily discontinued, then your time for filing is likely the same as if the attorney never filed it.

If by "terminated" you mean that the case was dismissed with prejudice, then there are strong odds that you cannot bring the case at all again. If the case was very recently dismissed with prejudice, you may still be within the window to appeal that decision.

You should call the attorney that filed it immediately and ask them about your options.
