Legal Question in Business Law in Pennsylvania
A so called attorney is emailing me threats in a situation between myself and my previous boarding facility. Even though his daughter both boards at the facility and takes lessons from the facility. Is this not a conflict of interest and is he allowed to continue to email me threats?

First. Simply because the lawyer is a customer of the boarding facility, doesn't mean he has a conflict of interest. If he was a witness to any of the situation, and would have to be called as witness in court, he may have a conflict of interest. When you say threats, you need to be m ore specific. Are the threats over money claimed to be due or other issue. Simply because a lawyer writes you a letter requesting payment of a bill, and does make specific threats as to what he is going to do, which are without merit, the're really not threats.
