Changing LLC Name

I currently run an entertainment website that is structured as an LLC.

We're going to be expanding our business into other entertainment/media businesses; Film, Theatre, TV Production, Web design, Print Publications, etc, so we'd like to change the current LLC name and statement of purpose to something that will suit our new ventures, but will still be operating the current website in which is listed under the current LLC name

If I change the current LLC name into something else, and will still be operating the current business and using the name, would I have to re-register the present company name as a new fictious name.

You can file a fictitious name and continue to operate. There is no need to change anything regarding the LLC. You can file multiple fictitious name if you desire. Gerald Hershenson Esq.
