Legal Question in Business Law in Pennsylvania
child care payment policies
Our child care provider claims they require a 2 week notice of withdrawl. This policy is stated in a handbook that my husband and I never received. We have paid in full for the month of April and have made arrangements elsewhere for May 1st. The child care owner insists that we pay for the first week in May and is threatening to take the case to the magistrate. Can we be required to pay when we were not aware of the policy?

Re: child care payment policies
Unless you signed an agreement to be bound by the policy, you are not liable. I suggest you have an attorney review the agreement you signed, if you signed one. Gerald Hershenson Esq.
