After a contract is up, how long can a company automatically renew your contract without a signed agreement?

As a Franchise Attorney I can say the following. It depends what the contract says. If it provides for automatic renewal (usually if not cancelled by the renewal date), then it will continue to renew. That's why it is important to calendar these dates and exercise your cancellation rights per the contract. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
