Re: escorting

Escorting for the purpose of soliciting money for sex is illegal. Money spent for companionship alone is not illegal. Any fictious name business is required to register with the state. An attorney can advise you as to what documents must be filed and what your service can or cannot say and do.

Re: escorting

Yes and yes again, as long as there is no sex for cash involved, obviously this would be consider prostitution and criminal penalties would be associated. You would also need to protect yourself and your business against any such allegations which also could incurr possible criminal sanctions.

As for the business end of your enterprise, yes you need to file with the State, either as a corporate entity, or if you are using a fictious name, this is any other name other then your own that you would use for your business. I recommend you consult an attorney on filing the appropriate paperwork.

My office also offers flat rate pricing and free consultations, for additional information please visit my firm's website at www.AlleghenyAttorneys.com or by calling my office at 412.731.0865.
