Financial Responsibility
If a supplier of our company is late in the shipment of
materials, well beyond the acknowledged ship date,
and this causes our company to loose a sale or project,
causing our company financial lose, are we within legal
ground, under state or federal requlations, to pursue
any finacial restitution from this supplier?

If the losses were forseeable and you cold not secure other supplies the supplier might be liable. It will depend on a number of factors including the contract you had with the supplier. I offer free consultations.
