Legal Question in Business Law in Pennsylvania
Fire/ Insurance comp.
My apartment I was renting was burnt down by roofers. I did have renters insurance, but under estimated my possessions worth. I had received the money through my insurance and was told to talk to the roofers ins. comp. for the difference. I lost money from work money from grants and such from school along with possessions how much of a figure do I go asking their ins. comp. to settle with me? I dont want to go in asking too much but dont want them to cut my throat either.

Re: Fire/ Insurance comp.
I suggest you hire either an attorney or public adjuster to handle the negotiation. A public adjuster will take the matter on a contingency fee basis. Do not handle the negotiations yourself.
