Legal Question in Business Law in Pennsylvania
Home based Business
I am interested in becoming an affiliate with a company who offers a child protection program to parents.(abductions/runaways/kidnappingsetc.) I will be advertising their service under their name. Do I need to establish my own company name as an affiliate? If so what legal structure should I consider?

Re: Home based Business
If you wish to use a fictitious name for your business, you would need to register that name with the state. The determination of whether or not you should form a business entity for your venture depends upon many factors: cost, risk of the business, administration, liability, tax considerations, the number of owners (or potential owners) of your business, and your long-term plans.
