Legal Question in Business Law in Pennsylvania

We are an independent dealership in PA. We sold a vehicle to a customer whose check bounced. After pursuing the money owed for over a month, the customer returned the vehicle. Due to the wear and tear put on the vehicle, we had to sell it for $4,000 less. Do we have grounds to sell?

Dear Dealer: Absolutely. You have a legal right to sue for breach of your written sales agreement (contract). You may also wish to include a claim for fraudulent inducement, unlawful conversion, diminution in value, and punitive damages, etc.

An experienced Attorney should be able to represent you in preparing and filing your lawsuit.

Good luck!

Sincerely,
