I had a contractor who did work in my house, post photos with my name and my homes contents on his website without my approval or discussion. Do I have any right to stop this unauthorized use of these photos?

You asked about right to privacy and publicity in connection with a contractor's business.

You have the right to a certain level of privacy and this is weighed against the contractor's right to publicize his work.

You can ask the contractor to remove the information and pictures nicely. Or you can hire an attorney and get all the justice you can afford.

The law is rarely clear cut and this is a demonstrative case.
