Approx 3 years ago, my husband did a roof for a cust and 3 shingles hit the side of house, put 3 little dents in it. He offered to remove dents. Cust wanted house resided. A year later he took my husband to court, my husband didnt go because cust died right before hearing, His family pursured and a judgement of $4000.00 was issued, we recvd notice of

svc of interrogatories asking questions of social sec# bank accounts # and how much money from 5 years ago. My husband has a little roofing business he owns nothing. The house is in my name only since we were not together when I purchased,

What can he do?

The best advice at this time is to get an attorney. If the house is in your name alone, it is not subject to attachment or a lien. However, there are so many issues involved that it is better to seek legal advice to protect yourself. One mistake was made in the past by not challenging the legal suit.
