Legal Question in Business Law in Pennsylvania
I own a laundromat and have been a tenant for 7 years. My landlord went to my competitor and offered him a lease at the same rate that I am currently paying but is including the unit next door for
$500.00 more a month. I do not need the space next door. I was trying to sell my business but now have no chance. Is there anything I can do???

As a Franchise Attorney I can say that it's only possible to sell your business with whatever is remaining on the term of your lease. Does the lease provide a renewal option? If so, that would be part of your sales package. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
