Legal Question in Business Law in Pennsylvania

Leasing and contracts

I placed my product in a Craft Mall. The space is a 4x4 booth and the rent is $85.00 per month. This took place on March 1st, 2004. As of today, March 15th, 2004 I have yet to sign a lease. I have been over there and called and was promised that it would be sent in the mail this week end. It has not came yet. Can I pull my product out of this store without it coming back on me legally?

Re: Leasing and contracts

In the absence of a writing agreement you can cancel the lease. You are on a month to month lease. You are required legally to give a full months notice to terminate. Make sure you give a full thirty day notice to terminate. If you were to give notice before March 31, 2004, you would have to pay for the month of April 2004. If you give notice April 1, 2004 you will have liability for both April and May 2004. If I can be of any assistance please call. For a small fee I can advise you how to bes protect yourself.
