Legal Question in Business Law in Pennsylvania
A local car dealer (state of PA) advertised a vehicle for $16,999 when it should have been $26,999. This was an internet ad. We would like to have them honor the $16,999 price. I have been searching for the Federal Trade Commission site for a statute or law that states they must honor advertised prices. I have been unable to find anything solid. Can you please advise if there is a statue or law regarding this issue? And can you please site your resources?

THis sounds like bait and switch. The unfair trade practices act in Pennsylvania sounds like it may be applicable check out Purdens statutes under trade and commerce. If you would like to discuss this further feel free to contact my office.
