Legal Question in Business Law in Pennsylvania
How long can a business legal wait or hold payment for services rendered and invoiced?

As a Franchise Attorney I can say the answer depends on the contract between the parties. It may (in the absence of any contract) depend on the terms of the invoice. Usually invoices state "terms: net 30" meaning payment of the full invoice is due within 30 days. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.

If I ddn't get paid in 30 days, I would go file an action in small claims court. Your zip code indicates you live in Lewisberry, PA: If this is correct go to:
Gross Scott District Justice
686 Yorktown Road, Lewisberry, PA 17339-9522
(717) 938-2523
Tell them you want to file a civil action, and they will help you out and give you the correct form.
