Legal Question in Business Law in Pennsylvania

Posting Signage for Slander and Imposing a Class Action Lawsuit...

I originally contacted this service on April 4, 2007 and asked if it would be legal to post signs on telephone poles to (i) inform the public that a class action lawsuit is being filed against somenone who continually slanders another and (ii) to intrigue others who may have had similiar difficulties with this particular party and would wish to join our suit. We then got a rather vague response on April 5, 2007, stating that we should check the local municipalities for that district to see if it is legal to post signage. We also got a response, which stated that it would be in our best interest to utilize the legal system only, as a means to gather people and induce a class action lawsuit against this person. They stated that in general, we should stay away from the signage posting but if required, we should consult with a local attorney first, before executing any such actions. What is your opinion and can you provide more of an in depth answer to our previuos question? We used the criminal law section before and now see that it may be worthwhile to use the business legal counsel as well.

The previous advice was spot on. Contact an attorney and use the legal system to deal with the other party.
