Legal Question in Business Law in Pennsylvania
I am in the process of opening a bakery and had an idea to sell alcoholic cupcakes. A few questions follow with the idea. 1) is it legal to sell a pastry that has a small hint of alcohol? 2) if it is edible and in small quantities would customers still need to be carded?

First, I believe that you should check with the LCB as to whether you can do this, especially without a liquor license. Second, if they give you permission, you would definitely have to card people.
An LCB advisory opinion can be found at : http://www.lcbapps.lcb.state.pa.us/webapp/legal/PublicAdvOpnDisplay.asp?opinion_year=2010&opinion_sequence=522
This would seem to allow you to sell such cupcakes.
To be sure, I would contact the LCB at: www.lcb.state.pa.us/ for an advisory opinion.
