Legal Question in Business Law in Pennsylvania
If you sign a modeling agency contract. You are the model. Do you have a grace period to renege or cancel the contract before it becomes binding. I know someone who signed such a contract a day ago. Now they want to cancel it. What would be the best way to ensure that the cancellation is held up in a court of law.

The answer depends upon what the contract says. Often there are non-compete clauses that prohibit working for a competitor for a certain period of time and a certain geographical area upon termination. there could also be other monetary penalties. I would need to review the contract to analyze the situation. Feel free to contact me.
The other attorney is right on point here. It all dependss on what the contract says about termination and post-termination activities. Consult with an attorney in your area for specifics.
