Legal Question in Business Law in Pennsylvania
I OWN A SMALL CONSTRUCTION BUSINESS. I COMPLETED A PROJECT AND ARE BEHIND ON PAYMENTS TO A CONCRETE SUPPLIER. THE SUPPLIER STOPPED AT THE JOB SITE AND TOLD THE PROPERTY OWNER THEY WOULD PUT A LEIN ON HIS PROPERTY IF THEY WERE NOT PAID.

Any attorney will tell you the supplier needs a judgment from a lawsuit before he can put a lien on anything. Unless there is a contract signed by the owner giving them a lien in the event of non-payment - which is under your control and not very likely. Consult with an attorney in your area for specifics.
