What can I Do?

I started a semi-pro football team,I did all the foot work put everything in order got us into a league put fundraisers together brought in money had meetings.I asked a guy to coach the team he accepted and started to take over doing things for the team that no one asked him to do.Now he thinks that he has every right to do what ever he wants to do with this team.He has even came out in public and stated that this is his team, and that I have nothing to do with it.This guy will not go away.What can I do?

It is impossible to answer your question without more facts. For example how was the team started? Was it incorporated or did you just get some people together to start the team without any coaching contract? If you created the team by creating a formal legal entity you will have some recourse. If you just informally started the team without establishing a legal entity you have a serious problem. I suggest you consult with legal counsel to discuss this matter.
