Legal Question in Business Law in Pennsylvania
being sued
My niece was in a verbal agreement with a friend for a cell phone contract she did not sign anything other than her debit card to purchase the phone. She would pay her half of the bill by giving her cash that is how the friend wanted it. Now the friend is stating that she owes her 2,000.00 for her un paid bill and my niece said she paid it all to her in cash. The friend did this to her after the fact of there friendship broke up. does her friend have a case against her if she has no proof of her sighning anything.

Re: being sued
Yes, your nieces friend can take your niece to court. It will come down to who the judge finds most credible.
