Legal Question in Business Law in Pennsylvania
Terminate a contract
I signed a Credit card contract with a company in CO. Nov 2004. in big letters it said no Cancelation fees.
When I called to cancel 04-2007 they said I am not allowed to do so. Reading the ''fine print '' it said The Agreement is for one year , thereafter the agreement will automaticly renew for an add one year term unless merchant noties acquire of it's attention no to renew the agrement at least 90 days prior to the end of the agremmen term. Can i legally cancel my contract since the since the inital term is over. Is there any way I can get ot of this?

Re: Terminate a contract
Well I would have to read the contract to know, however you can certainly give 90 day notice for the contract not to renew.
Send the nonrenewal notice certified return receipt requested.
